The UKM Live Head and Neck Oncology Surgery event was organized in conjunction with World Head and Neck Cancer Day on 27^th July 2023. This event featured live surgeries demonstrating common cancer surgeries such as hemiglossectomy, neck dissection, and parotidectomy conducted by experienced and skilled head and neck oncology surgeons. These surgeries were broadcasted live to the attendees, providing them with real-time exposure to surgical techniques. This allowed them to gain practical experience and observe the intricacies of head and neck cancer surgeries first-hand. In addition, the event included expert lectures from senior surgeons sharing their knowledge and insights on head and neck cancer management, the importance of early detection, and the role of surgery in improving patient outcomes.
