As part of World Head & Neck Cancer Week, observed globally around 27 July, the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies (IFHNOS) organized a dedicated webinar on the theme "Management of Sub-Centimeter Thyroid Cancer."

To accommodate a global audience, the session was scheduled across two time zones: Saturday, 25 July at 10:00 AM EST for the Western Hemisphere, and Sunday, 26 July at 7:30 AM IST for the Eastern Hemisphere.

The webinar featured an expert faculty comprising Dr. Kepal Patel (NYU Langone Health, New York, USA), Dr. Luc Morris (Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, USA), and Dr. Leonardo Rangel (State University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). The program opened with an introduction by Dr. Patel, followed by a session on active surveillance by Dr. Morris, interventional procedures for early thyroid cancer by Dr. Rangel, and case presentations by Dr. Patel, concluding with an open question-and-answer session.

By addressing an increasingly relevant and debated area — the management of small, low-risk thyroid cancers — this webinar contributed meaningfully to IFHNOS's global mission of advancing evidence-based, multidisciplinary head and neck cancer care during Awareness Week.
