HCG Manavata Cancer Centre, Nashik, organized a dedicated academic program on 1st August 2026 (Saturday), focused on the theme "Future of Remote Access Neck Dissection in Head & Neck Cancers." The guest faculty for the day was Dr Arjun Singh, Associate Professor and Head & Neck Oncosurgeon, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
The day began with registration, a welcome address, and an introductory lecture, followed by an operative video session and interactive discussion. The scientific highlight was two live surgery sessions: the first demonstrated remote-access neck dissection with interactive operative commentary, showcasing next-generation robotic platforms including the Versius Surgical Robotic System (CMR Surgical) and the Edge Medical Surgical Robotic System; the second was a conventional neck dissection, taught step-by-step for comparative learning. The programme concluded with an open-house discussion, audience Q&A, felicitation of the guest faculty, and a vote of thanks.
The session was designed for Head & Neck Surgeons, ENT Surgeons, OMFS Specialists, and General Surgeons, offering hands-on exposure to evolving remote and robotic-assisted neck dissection techniques in head and neck cancer surgery.
