Brief Summary :

In commemoration of World Head and Neck Cancer Day on July 27^th, ORL-HNS Department CMGH/FMUI and Pelayanan Kanker Terpadu CMGH, Jakarta, Indonesia held a series of event throughout July 2020. This event consisted of series of events. We conducted several public councelings in the outpatient department to acknowledge and raise public awareness about clinical sign & symptoms, early diagnosis, and multidiscipline management of head and neck cancer. Video competition with aim to raise public awareness of head and neck cancer. 9 participants consisted of ORL-HNS & Radiotherapy Departments throughout Indonesia competed and Radiotherapy Department of CMGH/FMUI was declared as the winner of this competition. Public webinar held through Zoom application with 310 participants. 5 Speakers from multidisciplinary head & neck cancer team presented informative and interesting topics, i.e. Integrated Cancer Services in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era, Recognizing the Symptoms of Head and Neck Cancer, Management of Head and Neck Cancer, Nutrition for Head Neck Cancer Patients, and How to Adapt with Multiple Stressors. In the end of the webinar, we sang a song titled ‘If We Hold on Together’ to remind us that if we stick together, we can get through anything, especially in this New Normal Era.
