To commemorate World Head and Neck Cancer day at the Princess Alexandra Hospital the Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) department hosted an open clinic. 73 people attended the clinic and 68 were scoped. Of these 12 patients required further ENT follow up in the clinic and 9 of those required further tests. A local sponsor of Head and Neck Cancer Research Zarraffa’s Coffee whose CEO and founder Kenton Campbell is a throat cancer survivor ran a cover story on Michael Douglas’ battle with Head and Neck Cancer in their magazine Grind in association with World Head and Neck Cancer day
