Brief Summary :

The second WHNCD was successfully organized on July 27^th by the Mongolian Society of Head & neck and Reconstructive Surgery in collaboration with the National Cancer Center. Doctors from the head and neck surgical department of NCC carried out free screening and early detection Event at the NCC in the outpatient department. Over one hundred people were screened and twenty people with precancerous lesions, ten with benign tumor, three with suspicious for cancer were detected.

Also, two doctors gave an interview lectures on head and neck cancer generally and skin cancer separately on UBS channel which broadcasted throughout the country. Dr. Munkhtsetseg gave lecture on skin cancer and its risk factors including the hints for the public to detect themselves in detail with pictures. State honored doctor, the head and neck surgical pioneer Dr. Purevdorj gave an interview-lecture on head and neck cancer, their risk factors and early detection. This last one is planned to re-broadcast on the same channel in mid to end of this August.
