The first Head and Neck Cancer Summit for 2024 was held at the Grand Chola Hotel, Chennai, India, from 16 to 18 February 2024. It was the first in a series of Bi Annual Summits program which replaces the previously held very popular World Tour Programs of IFHNOS. 476 registrants participated in the Summit with 112 travelling from various parts of the world. About a fourth of the registrations were fellows in training or students learning head and neck surgery. 81 national and international faculty members delivered lectures and discussions focused on advancements in diagnosis, treatment, and management of head and neck cancer. Experts presented updates on the latest research around treatment and survivorship care. Key topics included personalized medicine, immunotherapy, deintensification strategies and multidisciplinary approaches to improve patient outcomes. A major highlight was the 170 posters that were displayed over the course of the Summit. Three winners were announced with attractive cash prizes.
